Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Still Needs a Human application and website (the "Service"), operated by Still Needs a Human Ltd. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
The Service
Still Needs a Human is an independent quality layer for machine and AI translation: automatic QA, human LQA scorecards and cross-engine evaluation. Modules are enabled per workspace, and the Service is provided on a subscription, free or trial basis as agreed with you.
Your content
You keep all rights to the content you upload, including source text, translations, glossaries and reports. You grant us a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content to train our models, and customer workspaces are isolated from one another.
The Service reads your bilingual files and reports on them. It does not modify the files you supply.
Accounts and acceptable use
Accounts are per named user. Do not share credentials, attempt to reach another customer's data, reverse engineer the Service or use it to break the law or another party's rights. We may suspend a workspace that puts other customers or the Service at risk.
Findings are advisory
The Service supports quality decisions; it does not make them for you. Findings, scores and rankings are advisory, a human reviewer remains responsible for the verdict, and nothing in the Service blocks or approves a delivery on your behalf.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Background processing is shared across customers, so a very large job may slow other queued work. We may change features and these terms; material changes will be communicated through the Service.
Fees
Fees, the billing period and the modules included are as set out in your plan or order. Word allowances count source words in segments that were actually checked. Prices exclude VAT.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law the Service is provided "as is", and our liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination we stop processing and remove your workspace content on request, subject to any retention we are legally required to keep.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
